Profile, Statistics and Indicators
Neighborhood Description: Westhaven Trails is a homeowners association located in the far southwest side of Madison, Wisconsin. The Westhaven plat contains unique features including over 17 acres of open space areas and trails. Westhaven Trails is located close to major transportation arterials, shopping malls, and other retail establishments including grocery, video and drug stores. Within the development is a City park that offers tennis and volleyball courts. Nearby is Elver Park which also contains tennis courts in addition to ball diamonds, basketball courts, frisbee golf, baseball fields and soccer fields. There are many first and second-time homebuyers in the Westhaven Plat that have resided here for over 25 years. Properties that do go on the market usually are sold in a very short period of time. These factors confirm the belief that Westhaven Trails is an attractive, affordable, and convenient place to call home. The Westhaven Plat has covenants designed to preserve the character of the neighborhood. These covenants include restrictions such as erecting a fence or parking/storing recreational vehicles in the driveway.
Neighborhood Boundaries: Lancaster Lane on the north, Greenway Trail on the east, McKee Road on the south, Wentworth on the west
