Profile, Statistics and Indicators
Neighborhood Description: The Bridge Lake Point Waunona Way Neighborhood is a small, quaint neighborhood located south of Lake Monona. Over the last several years, the neighborhood has transformed from a primarily renter-occupied to a mix of renter- and owner-occupied housing. Bridge Lake Point Waunona Neighborhood Revitalization efforts have also lead the way to the opening of the Bridge Lake Point Waunona Neighborhood Center (BLW). The Bridge Lake Point Waunona Neighborhood Center (BLW) is a community-directed, non-profit organization with a divers funding base that promotes community building and partnerships, working cooperatively with local nonprofit and business organizations to make the best use of limited resources. Bridge Lake Point Waunona Way Neighborhood Association focuses on making the neighborhood a better place for everyone to live. Association members have been working with residents on financial issues such as renter vouchers and utility bills as well as helping individuals to get to medical appointments and support groups.

Neighborhood Statistics Indicators: The Neighborhood Indicators Project is a demonstration of key characteristics and various indicators that relate to the quality of life in Madison at the neighborhood level. Basic neighborhood information as well as housing, public safety, health and family well-being, economic, and transportation indicators by neighborhood is available.
