Children can walk a few blocks to school from K-8th grade. Cherokee Park has an active Neighborhood Association. This organization provides community enjoyment and awareness of this unique neighborhood on Madison’s north side. The Neighborhood Association publishes a neighborhood directory every two years and distributes neighborhood news through a resident-only listserv. A Park Committee that protects and promotes the enjoyment of the neighborhood's Cherokee Park is very active. A Hospitality Committee welcomes new residents, provides a liaison between the Board and homeowners, and sponsors conversations and discussions on neighborhood safety and security. A beautiful place to live!
