Profile, Statistics and Indicators
Neighborhood Description: Faircrest is a well established, quiet neighborhood with low traffic streets and lots of large, mature trees. Conveniently located less than a mile from West Towne Mall. Faircrest is also within a mile of the public elementary, middle and high schools. This established neighborhood on the west side is home to a number of public schools, an outdoor swim club, and plenty of park and green space. Most of the homes in the area are between 40 and 50 years old. Faircrest Neighborhood Association has recently started up after several years of dormancy.

Neighborhood Statistics Indicators: The Neighborhood Indicators Project is a demonstration of key characteristics and various indicators that relate to the quality of life in Madison at the neighborhood level. Basic neighborhood information as well as housing, public safety, health and family well-being, economic, and transportation indicators by neighborhood is available.
