Profile, Statistics and Indicators
Neighborhood Description: The purpose of the Hawthorne Neighborhood Association is to promote a spirit of camaraderie among the residents of the area, to provide opportunities for cooperation among these residents in projects which are in the interest of the community, and to provide one voice in expressing ideas and opinion on matters which affect the citizens of this community. The Hawthorne Neighborhood Association supports and invites members from all walks of life, and strives to engage a diversified neighborhood council.
Neighborhood Boundaries: Graceland Avenue on the north, North Stoughton Road/Highway 51 on the east, Highway 30 on the south, and North Fair Oaks Avenue and Wright Street on the west
Neighborhood Statistics Indicators: The Neighborhood Indicators Project is a demonstration of key characteristics and various indicators that relate to the quality of life in Madison at the neighborhood level. Basic neighborhood information as well as housing, public safety, health and family well-being, economic, and transportation indicators by neighborhood is available.
